The Career Readiness Lab is the second half of OneKampas. Every student practises across five AI-generated, proctored tracks — configured course by course, so technical and non-technical cohorts are each measured on what actually matters for them.

The tracks

Nothing is pulled from a fixed question bank. Every test is built around the student's branch, skills, projects and target role — so practice looks like the drive they're actually preparing for. Which of the five run at all is your call, course by course.

Personalised, not generic

Each attempt is generated from the student's own career objective — target role, branch, skills and projects — and the difficulty adapts as they clear levels.

Integrity

Scores you can put in front of a recruiter

An unproctored score is a guess. Every attempt runs auto-proctored end-to-end, and the integrity score travels with the result.

Pre-test system check

Browser, camera, microphone, fullscreen, internet and multiple-monitor checks must pass before an attempt can begin.

Identity & environment

A face capture ties the attempt to the student, and the environment is scored from camera and mic before the timer starts.

Live monitoring

Fullscreen enforcement, tab-switch and paste detection, and on-device face and phone detection throughout the attempt.

Weighted integrity score

Every violation is timestamped and weighted against a score that starts at 100. Repeat offenders are warned, then auto-submitted.

What comes back

A report, not just a percentage

Each attempt is analysed the moment it's submitted — what the student got right, where they lost marks, and exactly what to work on next.

Every attempt returns a full analysis

Topic accuracy, difficulty and time behaviour, ranked strengths and weak areas, skill gaps, a sequenced learning plan and a career-match read — plus the recommended next level.

  • Per-topic breakdown — Every attempt returns topic-by-topic accuracy, difficulty and time analysis — so a 62% becomes a specific list of what to fix.
  • Strengths, gaps & a plan — Ranked strengths, weak areas, skill gaps and a sequenced learning plan, plus the level the student should attempt next.
  • Student Employability Index — A 0–100 score, banded Excellent → Needs Focus, with placement-ready called at 65. It unlocks once a student has cleared every track enabled for their course at the same level — so an SEI always means the whole path was completed, never a partial average.
  • Cohort analytics & export — Branch and batch views of SEI, placement-ready rate, CEFR bands and hire recommendations — exportable to CSV for review meetings.
AI Interview

A mock interview that answers back

The AI interviewer speaks the question, listens to the spoken answer, follows up, and closes with a recruiter-style verdict — competency by competency, with delivery metrics students can practise against.

  • Voice-driven, question-by-question feedback
  • Hire verdict across four bands, from Strong Hire to Not Yet
  • Capped at three attempts by default, so the verdict means something

One employability number per student — and per cohort

This is where assessments stop being a student feature and start being a placement instrument. A student's index unlocks once they clear every track enabled for their course at the same level — so an SEI is evidence of a finished path, not a partial average.

Track customization

Technical and non-technical courses, measured on their own terms

An MBA cohort should never be scored on a coding round, and a CSE cohort shouldn't clear at the same bar as a first-year polytechnic batch. Every track is switched on, weighted and graded course by course.

The same five tracks, tuned per course

Turn a track off and it disappears from those students' path entirely — no half-finished coding tile on an MBA dashboard, and no coding score dragging down their employability index.

Everything you can tune

Turn tracks on or off per course

A B.E. cohort runs all five tracks. An MBA, BBA, B.Com or design course can run Aptitude, Communication and Interview with Coding switched off entirely — students never see a track that isn't theirs.

Weight what matters

Each track carries its own weight in the employability index. Weight Coding heavily for CSE and Communication heavily for management, and the same SEI number means the right thing in both.

Your passing bar

Clearing score and minimum integrity are set per track and per level. Platform defaults are 70% (60% for the interview) with integrity at 60 — raise or lower them course by course.

Retakes & attempt caps

Retake cooldown days and maximum attempts per level are configurable — unlimited practice where you want volume, a hard cap where the score has to mean something.

Attempt alerts

Set the number of unsuccessful attempts after which your team is notified, so mentoring reaches a struggling student before the drive does.

Assign top-up rounds

Push an extra Technical, Aptitude, Coding or Communication assessment at a chosen level to everyone, to just the students who haven't cleared it, or to a hand-picked list — with a note and a due date.

Assessments are part of the platform — not a separate tool

The same student record carries the readiness score, the drive application and the offer. Nothing to reconcile.
